What a dental implant actually is
An implant is a titanium post placed into the jawbone to take the role of a missing tooth root. Over three to six months the bone grows against its surface — osseointegration — and a crown, bridge or full-arch prosthesis is then fixed on top.
Because it replaces the root rather than resting on the gum, an implant maintains the bone that would otherwise resorb after tooth loss. That is the clinical argument for implants over bridges and removable dentures, and it is why planning starts with imaging rather than with a price list.
Before anything else: a treatment plan written without a CBCT scan is a guess. We do not quote a surgical plan from photographs alone — an initial estimate from your records is always confirmed or revised after imaging in the clinic.
Why patients travel to Istanbul
The cost difference between Türkiye and the UK, Ireland or Scandinavia is driven by clinic overheads, laboratory costs and exchange rates — not by the implant that goes into your jaw. The systems, imaging equipment and CAD/CAM laboratories used here are the same ones used in western European practices.
What varies between clinics in Istanbul is not the city. It is which implant system is used, who performs the surgery, and whether the number you were quoted is the number you pay.
Treatment costs
The figures below are starting points for planning purposes. Your case is priced after examination and CBCT imaging; grafting, sinus lifting, extractions or a change of prosthetic material will change the total, and any such items appear in your written plan before you travel.

What separates clinics at different prices
Full-arch quotes across Istanbul can differ by several thousand euros. The gap is rarely arbitrary — it usually tracks these six things.

We are not the cheapest quote in Istanbul
We price for certified components, an implantology-trained surgeon and a plan that does not move after you land. If a quote you are comparing is materially lower, ask which implant system it covers and what is excluded — those two answers usually explain the difference.
All-on-4 and All-on-6
Full-arch treatment replaces every tooth in a jaw with a fixed bridge carried on a small number of implants. All-on-4 uses four fixtures, with the rear pair angled to engage available bone and often avoid grafting. All-on-6 adds two more for wider load distribution — usually chosen for heavier bite forces or greater bone loss.
Neither is inherently better. The CBCT scan decides: bone volume and density in your jaw determine how many fixtures can be placed and where.

Safety and accreditation
Habibler Clinic is a Ministry of Health licensed polyclinic in Istanbul. Surgery is performed by clinicians with postgraduate training in implantology, using single-use sterile sets and documented implant components.
No clinician can guarantee an individual clinical outcome, and any clinic that offers you one is telling you something it cannot support. What we do commit to is a documented plan, named materials, and aftercare terms agreed in writing before treatment starts.
Frequently asked questions
Implant treatment normally requires two visits: 3–5 days for surgery and 5–7 days for the final restoration, with 3–6 months of healing in between. Crown-only cases can often be completed in a single 6–7 day visit.
The written plan is binding for the procedures it lists. It can only change if the on-site CBCT scan reveals something the referral images could not show — for example bone volume requiring a graft. In that case we explain the options and the revised cost before any treatment begins.
We work with CE-certified implant systems and supply the manufacturer documentation for the implants placed in your case. Premium systems are available on request; the choice is made on clinical grounds, not price alone.
Often yes. Moderate loss is managed with angled placement or grafting. Advanced loss in the upper jaw may be treated with zygomatic implants. A CBCT scan determines what is possible in your case.
Surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic, with sedation available for anxious patients. Post-operative discomfort is usually mild and managed with prescribed medication and written aftercare instructions.
Implant survival rates are high, but no clinician can guarantee an individual outcome. If an implant does not integrate, we remove it, allow the site to heal and reassess — including grafting where indicated. Your aftercare terms are set out in writing before treatment.
